I love taking photos at night. It has taken quite some time (and I'm still working on improving) for me to get the hang of finding the right camera setting and using a tripod more accurately. Here is one of my very first photographs I have taken at night. The candle being the only source of light.
This past week I had the pleasure to be part of a week long intensive trip for my Holocaust and Human Behavior class. We traveled to DC, NYC and NJ visiting monuments and memorials and meeting with holocaust survivors and 'Nazi Hunters.' We spent two days at the Holocaust Museum and Memorial and on our way back to VT, visited the 9/11 memorial and the Empty Sky Memorial. The trip was amazing and very inspiring. Every evening we came together as a class to reflect and debrief and participate in simulations and other activities. Below are some pictures from the trip. Enjoy! Are you on Flickr? I am!
